At Crystal River Take a Soldier Fishing (CRTASF), our mission is simple: honor and support our veterans and active-duty service members by giving them a day on the water they’ll never forget. Our captains are the heart of this event, and we’re grateful for every Charter Captain and private boat owner who steps up to serve.

Boat Sponsorship Opportunities

Local businesses will have the opportunity to sponsor participating boats, covering the tournament entry fee.
This means captains can participate at no cost, while businesses receive recognition and help support a meaningful cause.

If you’d like your boat to be eligible for sponsorship, just indicate it on your registration form.

Serve Those Who Served

Every participating captain will be asked to take one or two veterans or active-duty soldiers aboard for the tournament.
This event is not just about fishing—it’s about fellowship, healing, and giving back to the men and women who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.

The Crystal River Take a Soldier Fishing Tournament is tentatively scheduled for September 26th, 2026.
